I have been working at PREIS since December 15, 2009, when the company still operated under the name PREIS & Co GmbH. My professional career began in the sales back office of the Electrical Components division, where I worked closely with both customers and suppliers. The combination of sales-related responsibilities and independent procurement was a new but extremely exciting challenge for me at the time—one that permanently sharpened my understanding of commercial processes and business relationships.
As the department continued to grow and sales increased, I was given the opportunity to take over central purchasing. I was deeply honored by this offer and saw it as a significant sign of trust. I took on the position with great enthusiasm and dedication. In this role, I was able to further develop my organizational skills, think more strategically, and actively contribute to the optimization of processes and supplier networks. I held this position of responsibility until March 2019 and gained valuable experience during that time that helped me grow both professionally and personally.
Afterwards, I moved to Internal Sales in the steel construction division, where I still work today. The versatility and dynamic nature of this area immediately inspired me. My responsibilities include preparing quotations, handling complete order processing, coordinating and monitoring deliveries, and managing invoicing with our plants in Slovenia and Bosnia as well as with our customers. What I particularly value is the intensive daily exchange with a wide range of stakeholders—both internally and externally—which makes my work varied and dynamic.
Over the years, I have learned to respond flexibly to new requirements, take on responsibility, and maintain a clear overview even in challenging situations. The close collaboration within the team, along with the trust of my supervisors and colleagues, motivates me to do my part and continue to actively contribute toward our shared success.
Until my retirement in 2028, I would like to continue contributing to the success of the company with dedication and apply my experience in a meaningful way. Beyond the professional aspects of my work, I especially value the excellent working atmosphere and the respectful, friendly way we interact with one another. I still enjoy coming to work every single day—and for me, that is a true gift and something that should never be taken for granted.
