  • IP address
  • Date and time of access
  • Websites from which you access our site (referrer URL)
  • Operating system
  • Name of the Internet service provider
  • Product and version information of the browser used
  • Amount of data transferred and loading time

If you have given your prior consent, personal data may also be transferred to providers of analytics and marketing services, in particular Meta Platforms Ireland Limited.

The legal basis for this data processing is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. This legitimate interest lies in ensuring the functionality, security, and availability of the website for all visitors and, where applicable, in the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

You have the right to object to this data processing in accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR. In such a case, we will only continue to process your data if we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for further processing.

It is not possible to draw direct conclusions about your identity based on this information. The data is automatically deleted once the aforementioned purposes have been achieved.

Contact form

We provide a contact form on our website to make it easy for you to get in touch with us. To use this form, please provide the requested information so that we can process and respond to your enquiry.

We process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, namely the provision of easily accessible electronic contact and communication options, and, where applicable, for the performance of a contract or to take steps prior to entering into a contract pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. The data and information provided through the contact form will be used exclusively to respond to your enquiry or to contact you. As an alternative to using the contact form, you may contact us via the provided email address, by telephone, or by post.

You have the right to object to data processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR. In such a case, we will only continue to process your data if we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing.

Jobs and applications

We may publish job vacancies on our website and allow applications to be submitted through an application form or by email.

We process the personal data and application documents you provide for the purpose of conducting the application process, assessing your suitability for the relevant position, contacting you, and, where applicable, preparing an employment relationship.

The processing is generally carried out in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Where necessary, we also process data on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, in particular for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

Application data will be deleted after completion of the application process as soon as its storage is no longer required to comply with legal obligations or to defend against potential legal claims. Your data will only be retained in an applicant pool beyond this period with your express consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.

If your application documents contain special categories of personal data, such as health data, such data will only be processed where this is necessary for the application process and permitted by law.

Use of the Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland (“Meta”), on our website after obtaining your consent.

The Meta Pixel helps us measure the use of our website and the effectiveness of our advertisements on Facebook and Instagram and optimise future advertising activities. In particular, the IP address, browser and device information, referrer URL, pages accessed, time of access, as well as cookie and event data may be transmitted to Meta. Meta may associate this data with an existing Facebook or Instagram account and use it for personalised advertising.

Processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The Meta Pixel will only be activated after you have consented to the use of marketing technologies. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by adjusting the cookie settings.

We and Meta may be jointly responsible pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR for the collection and transmission of data. Subsequent processing by Meta is generally carried out under Meta’s own responsibility. Meta provides a corresponding Controller Addendum for its Business Tools.

Data may also be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the United States. Meta participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for certified companies in the United States. Further information about the technologies used and their retention periods can be found in the cookie settings.

Further information about the processing of personal data by Meta can be found in Meta’s Privacy Policy.

4. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

We do not make any decisions based solely on automated processing of data collected through this website that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.

In connection with the use of the Meta Pixel, Meta may, however, process data for the creation of target groups, the personalisation of advertising, and profiling purposes. Further information can be found in the section “Use of the Meta Pixel” and in Meta’s Privacy Policy.

5. Data Disclosure and Recipients

As a rule, we only disclose data collected on the basis of your use of our website to the extent absolutely necessary to fulfil the stated purposes, such as the operation and maintenance of the website by external service providers or the disclosure of data to email providers for the handling of communications. In addition, we may also be legally or officially required to disclose data to third parties, for example to law enforcement authorities.

In all cases of data disclosure, we ensure that only the absolutely necessary information is transmitted and that the data protection requirements for data disclosure are complied with, for example strict instruction-based processing by processors through contracts pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, obligations of secrecy and confidentiality, and the obligation to fully maintain an adequate level of protection when processing personal data.

6. Data Retention Period

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the respective processing purposes and to comply with legal obligations. Log file data is generally stored for a period of six months. Data from contact enquiries is stored until the respective enquiry has been fully processed and beyond this period only where this is necessary to comply with statutory retention obligations or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims. The retention periods and criteria stated in the section “Jobs and applications” apply to application data. Information about the retention periods of cookies and similar technologies can be found in the cookie settings, which can be accessed at any time. As soon as further storage is no longer necessary, the relevant data will be deleted or anonymised.

7. Data Subject Rights / Your Rights to Protect Your Personal Data

With regard to the personal data concerning you that we process, you have a number of rights. You may exercise all these rights free of charge and without any specific form requirement by email, telephone, or post, where applicable after proof of your identity, using the contact details provided. Your rights in detail:

Right of access

You may request information about the data we process at any time and without any specific form requirement. In this case, we will inform you in writing which data we have stored about you, for what purposes we use it, to which categories of recipients we disclose it, and for how long we intend to continue storing it. We will comply with your request for information without delay and, at the latest, within one month.

Right to erasure

You have the right at any time to request, without any specific form requirement, the deletion of your data processed by us. We will comply with this request if your data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, if you withdraw any existing consent, in the event of unlawful data processing, or if deletion is required to fulfil a legal obligation.

Right to rectification

If we accidentally process inaccurate or incomplete data about you, we will of course correct it. An informal request addressed to us is sufficient for this purpose.

Right to restriction of processing

If deletion of your data is not possible or is not desired by you, but you do not consent to any use of the data beyond its storage, we are obliged, upon your request, to restrict the further processing of your personal data.

Right to data portability

Upon your informal request, we will provide you free of charge with the data we have stored about you, which we have received on the basis of a contract or your consent, in a commonly used file format. You may use this data for your own purposes and pass it on to future contractual partners. If you so wish and if technically feasible, we will also transfer your data directly to a recipient named by you. In this case, we will inform you once the transfer has been completed. We will comply with your request without delay and, at the latest, within one month.

Right to withdraw consent granted

You may withdraw consent granted for data processing at any time with effect for the future, in which case we will cease the data processing. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to that point is not affected by the withdrawal of consent.

Right to object

If we process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest, you have the right under the General Data Protection Regulation to object to the further processing of your data. If you exercise this right, we will no longer process your data for the purpose to which you have objected, unless there are legitimate grounds on our part for further processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

8. Right to Lodge a Complaint

The EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Austrian Data Protection Act guarantee you the above-mentioned rights in the area of data protection. If you believe that we have violated any of these rights, you have the option of lodging a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

The supervisory authority in Austria is:

Austrian Data Protection Authority
Barichgasse 40–42
1030 Vienna

9. Data Security

We take all necessary and appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against loss and misuse. Your data is stored in a secure operating environment that corresponds to the current state of the art.
